Job Summary We’re hiring a

Part-Time Field Service Engineer

to join our

family-run team

at

Bowden Digitec . In this role, you’ll deliver

exceptional technical service , maintain

trusted client relationships , and contribute to the

growth of the business

by identifying opportunities for

new business . The ideal candidate is

customer-focused , self-motivated, and eager to grow with a forward-thinking business that values

service excellence

above all else. You’ll work a

minimum of 25 hours per week

(10 AM–3 PM, Monday to Friday), with

opportunities for overtime

and

uncapped commission

on new business gained during service calls. Responsibilities Service & Maintenance:

Install, service, and maintain

photocopiers

(Epson, Sharp, Konica Minolta, Ineo Develop). Troubleshoot technical issues and perform

preventative maintenance

to minimize downtime. Customer Care:

Deliver

5-star service

to clients at their locations, ensuring satisfaction and trust. Provide technical training on the

proper use and maintenance

of equipment. New Business Identification:

Recognize

new business opportunities

(upgraded devices, service agreements, consumables) and earn

20% commission after costs

on all new business gained. Work closely with clients to

tailor solutions

that improve their efficiency and reduce costs. Proactive Development:

Stay productive during quieter periods by assisting with

administrative tasks

and engaging in

self-learning

about emerging technologies like

AI-driven office solutions . Qualifications Experience:

Proven work in a

Field Service Engineer

role or similar (managed print, IT, or networking experience preferred). Skills:

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Excellent

communication

and

customer relationship

skills. Self-motivated with the ability to

work independently

and manage time effectively. License:

A valid

driver’s license

is required, as the role involves travel across

Kent

and occasional work in

London

(up to 25 miles, with rare further travel). Location:

Ideally based near

Canterbury, Kent

to support the service area efficiently. Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate:

£18 per hour. Pro Rata Salary:

£23,400 per annum (based on 25 hours per week). Commission:

20% commission after costs

on all new business gained—uncapped earnings potential. Overtime:

Paid at

£18/hour

for any additional hours worked. Additional Benefits:

Company van, fuel card, phone, and laptop provided.
