Do you have experience in the construction and building industry with a background in energy assessment, building control, or architecture?


We are looking for a skilled Photo Evidence Reviewer to ensure compliance with energy efficiency standards through analysis of site photographs.


As a Photo Evidence Reviewer, you will play a crucial role in evaluating photographic evidence to verify adherence to regulatory requirements and project specifications. Your strong communication skills and keen eye for detail will be essential in identifying any discrepancies and effectively collaborating with SAP and site teams.


AES Sustainability Consultants Ltd is an award-winning consultancy firm that works with some of the leading UK housebuilders and developers, delivering high quality energy and sustainability advice and assessments to the construction and property industries.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Work across multiple platforms to ensure photos are signed off ideally within 24 hours but no later than 48 hours (workdays)
  • Provide feedback to clients on areas of non-compliance or observations
  • Set up new jobs, clients and user on the AES HUB and allocate the correct permissions
  • Help to onboard AES SiteView Clients and attend site visits if needed • Liaise with AES SiteView clients on device settings to ensure photos are taken correctly
  • Making updates / ensuring changes are carried through to SAP assessments
  • Operate AES SiteView and creating photo criteria

  • Maintain or work towards an OCDEA accreditation


Competencies:


Personal

  • Effective Reporting: Communicating findings succinctly and clearly


Technical/Specialist

  • Knowledge of Part L (2021): Understanding the specific requirements related to energy efficiency and construction details
  • Awareness of building control processes: Knowing how evidence fits into the overall compliance process and where the limit of responsibility lies
  • OCDEA accreditation or working towards


Operational

  • Working with Energy Assessors, Clients, and Building Control: Coordinating to authorise evidence Thoroughness: Ensuring that each construction photo / detail is accurately documented
  • Cross-Checking Details: Verifying that evidence aligns with building regulations
