About the role We’re looking for a well-rounded PHP engineer who knows the ropes of modern PHP development, while Symfony is their go-to framework. This team is tasked with the future of credit in Lendable and tackles the toughest and most challenging credit market in Latin America. There’s much to do, from security-first API integrations with fraud detection and asset management systems, repurposing in-house-built credit card systems for new markets, integrating with developing underwriting models and third-party reporting automation to identifying the value of collected data and leveraging it for better credit decisions. Our Tech Stack (For engineering roles) Backend: Latest PHP, Latest Symfony, AWS, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes Frontend: React, TypeScript, MobX, Redux, Stylus, and SASS AI: Greptile, CodeRabbit, Co-pilot Other: ArgoCD and GitHub Actions - we deploy to production as soon as we finish a feature. Behat, PHPUnit, Jest, Selenium, and Detox for automated testing. What we’re looking for

Experience in Finance or related industry Track record in developing with modern PHP standards (Java-like) Good familiarity with code quality tools from the likes of PHPStan, Psalm, PHPArkitect, and others Deep understanding of testing techniques with PHPUnit and Behat Data-oriented mindset Enthusiastic about AI and how to leverage AI tools to improve development’s speed and quality Being a self-starter and naturally looking to unblock themselves before reaching out to others; A person with critical thinking who collaborates with our non-engineering colleagues and refines the actual product with them.
