NETBOP is a leading web & automation development company requiring additional resources to bolster the existing team which primarily offers Intelligent Automation, Bespoke Web Portal Development, WordPress development, hosting, and maintenance.
We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to solve complex problems with clean, maintainable code.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be an experienced PHP Developer with a passion for solving complex problems through developing clean, well-written, and maintainable code as well as supporting and helping to build upon existing internal systems.
You will be working within a small team in our Swansea office. As a confident PHP Developer, you will be provided with opportunities to work on multiple projects for clients throughout the UK.
You will have
Extensive commercial experience in PHP development (object-oriented), building secure web portals and interactions between MySQL/API integrations.
Experience in creating bespoke WordPress theme development and abilities in customising plugins and themes.
Understanding of how to use hooks & filters to extend popular WordPress plugins such as ACF and WooCommerce.
Experience with Javascript/JQuery & Grunt.
Experience integrating 3rd-party REST APIs.
Good attention to detail and strive for perfection.
Awareness of web fundamentals, such as security, performance, semantics, and web accessibility.
Strong communication skills/comfortable in client meetings.
Great interpersonal skills.
Required Experience
Strong problem-solving skills.
At least 3+ years commercial PHP or WordPress development experience.
Demonstrable knowledge of Object-Oriented and Procedural PHP and good knowledge of PHP fundamentals.
Able to use standard workflow tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
