Physical Disability Assistant SENSS

Do you have the skills and passion to make a difference to the learning experience of children with disabilities? We are seeking a skilled educational practitioner who is passionate about working with children in the Early Years who have special educational needs and disabilities. As well as your passion for Early Years, you will have a calm and supportive manner and a positive and solution-focused mindset. You will also have experience of working with children with SEN and disabilities and want to make a positive difference to learning outcomes and inclusion for these children. You hold GCSE Maths and English grade A to C (or equivalent) or have equivalent professional experience, and have good spoken and written English language skills. Ideally, you will hold a qualification in working with children with physical disability, Early Years, and/or child development. You will be able to communicate sensitively and appropriately with children, parents/carers, and colleagues. You can work positively as part of a team and feel confident to work alone following the guidance of Specialist Teachers. The role is term time only (39 weeks per year) with 6.65 holiday weeks paid (i.e. 45.65 paid weeks per year); please see job description for (actual) pro rata salary.
