We are excited to announce multiple opportunities to join our team as a Security Specialist working closely with the cyber security function. Would you like to be an ambassador for Security standards and awareness across Severn Trent and Hafren Dyfrdwy? Do you have extensive experience managing risks and/or physical security, along with excellent stakeholder management skills? EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW The key accountabilities of this role will include: Supporting the development and delivery of our physical and people security strategy and standards, working with key internal and external stakeholders. The development and implementation of positive security practices and behaviours to improve the security standards and culture. Undertaking planned and unplanned security-related audits, surveys and assurance programmes. Utilising your knowledge of water/wastewater processes to inform security standards and risk assessments. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE Apart from being a great fit for the team, we’re seeking someone ideally with transferable skills, knowledge of water/wastewater processes and risk. Experience in security or risk management would be desirable although not essential. Finally, we’re seeking someone who can work both independently and as part of a team. The ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels is essential to ensure speedy and timely resolution of issues/problems. This role does require you to hold a full UK driving licence. The right skills and experience are important.
