Our therapists enjoy a variety of orthopedic and post-surgical patients from multiple referral sources in the communities we serve. Qualifications:

Carry out individual physical therapy treatment plans that have been developed by a physical therapist. Apply modalities to patients in accordance with established procedures and Plan of Care. Train patients in exercise, ambulation, activities of daily living, use of adaptive equipment and positioning aids. Document patient/client progress by adding to and maintaining ongoing records such as progress notes. Refer patients to other services when appropriate. Perform other related duties as assigned. Notify supervising therapists when a patient needs evaluation in accordance with the State practice laws. Participate in in-services to broaden knowledge of physical therapy and other related topics. Participate in educational programs that meet the States CEU requirements and licensure. Provide in-services on continuing education courses to other staff members. Participate in special outpatient programs. Certification/License:
Current State of Maryland or Virginia Physical Therapy Assistant license (Required) CPR Certification (Preferred) Benefits:
