Health Alliance Primary Care Network (a group of 7 GP Practices) is looking to recruit an experienced or newly qualified Physician Associate to join our team. Are you highly motivated, dynamic, and enthusiastic about supporting patients in Primary Care in a proactive and collaborative way? The successful candidate should have completed the Physician Associate Postgraduate Diploma/Masters from an accredited UK university. Please only apply if the following applies to you: You have a clean driving licence and your own car. You live within a 40-minute drive of Belmont Health Centre, Harrow. Main duties of the job

The Physician Associate will work within their scope of clinical practice and provide first point of contact care for patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems, utilising history-taking, physical examinations, and clinical decision-making skills to establish a working diagnosis and management plan in partnership with the patient. Undertake face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations for emergency or routine problems, as determined by the Practice, including management of patients with long-term conditions. Participate in all treatment and preventative healthcare services in the Practices as delegated and agreed by the supervising GP(s), for example, Learning Disabilities Annual Health Checks. The successful candidate will also undertake medical histories, carry out physical examinations, update records, make diagnoses, analyse test results, triage patients, and deliver treatment as appropriate. Working to a professional code of ethics, you will be able to demonstrate flexibility in the role and have a calm and caring attitude towards patients. About us

To deliver a high standard of patient care using advanced autonomous clinical skills with in-depth theoretical knowledge and evidence-based practice working under the supervision of a GP. To manage a clinical caseload and deal with presenting patients' needs in a primary care setting. To provide clinical leadership where appropriate within the practice and support other members of the team to develop and maintain clinical skills appropriate to your role and expertise. Qualifications

Postgraduate diploma in Physician Associate from an accredited UK university. DBS check meets enhanced with barred. Experience in Primary Care. Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and as such, it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. Depending on experience, £38,000 to £45,000.
