As the leading supply teaching agency in Oxfordshire, Class Act Teaching Services are looking for a Physics Teacher for a full-time role starting in January 2025. This Physics Teacher position is in a Secondary School in Bicester who are looking for a proactive teacher to join their team initially on a supply basis with the potential to be made permanent.
There is a strong emphasis on the ethos of this Secondary School which is to provide an education that removes barriers to a young person’s ability to learn and thrive. The school is looking for a teacher who can make a positive impact within the school and inspire students to be ambitious.
Physics Teacher Role:
Good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Physics curriculum
Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment
Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
Compliance with the school's policies and the reliable implementation of these
Physics Teacher Requirements:
Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Science or Physics Teacher in a Secondary School
Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
A relevant Science-related degree is desirable
SEND experience is desirable
