Responsibilities
Deliver effective and inspiring Physics lessons to students, ensuring their engagement and progression in the subject. Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that fosters learning and encourages students to reach their potential. Plan and prepare well-structured lessons, following the curriculum guidelines and adapting them to meet individual needs. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their academic development. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in department meetings to share best practices and enhance teaching methods. Establish positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, fostering effective communication and cooperation. Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as science fairs or physics clubs, to promote further engagement in the subject. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field, with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Proven experience as a Physics teacher, preferably within the primary or secondary education sector. Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and understanding of effective teaching strategies in Physics. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. Organizational and time-management skills to plan and deliver well-structured lessons and meet deadlines. Innovative and creative approach to teaching, incorporating interactive and practical methods to enhance student learning. Ability to differentiate instruction to support students with diverse learning needs and styles.
