Essex and Suffolk Elective Orthopaedic Centre (ESEOC), situated in the Dame Clare Marx Building, specializes in elective Orthopaedic surgery and Orthopaedic day cases. With eight laminar flow theatres, three wards, recovery facilities, and comprehensive support services, ESEOC aims to become one of the largest centres of its kind in Europe, committed to delivering high-volume, low-complexity cases locally. We are looking for a physiotherapist to join the new service and work as part of our Orthopaedic physiotherapy team. Main duties of the job

To gain experience and develop skills and knowledge in Orthopaedic physiotherapy within the acute setting. Understanding and contributing to the orthopaedic physiotherapy pathways. To manage own caseload of patients, seeking advice and problem-solving from senior staff when required. To collaborate with the MDT in ESEOC to contribute to the care of elective patients. Qualifications

BSc / MSc Physiotherapy HCPC Registered Physiotherapist CPD relevant to elective Orthopaedics Membership of CSP / appropriate specialist Interest Groups Experience

A wide range of placements as a student / new graduate Experience working in Musculoskeletal/orthopaedics Experience of working with / delegating to therapy assistants/assistant practitioners Knowledge

Knowledge of a wide range of elective orthopaedic conditions Evidence of clinical reasoning process Evidence of the application of evidence-based practice Knowledge of patient pathways in primary and secondary care Benefits of exercise/disease education Please note that where response levels are exceptional, we may close the post before the specified date; therefore, early application is recommended.
