Practice Plus Group were recently awarded the healthcare contract at HMP Garth and to ensure the continued quality of care we are looking for a Physiotherapist to support us and the existing teams to work 15 hours per week. There is no on-call or weekend work to allow for a strong work-life balance! Working with patients with multiple, complex and/or chronic presentation health issues, you will be responsible for the advanced (MSK) assessment and treatment of patients within the offender healthcare setting, determining clinical diagnosis and clinical treatment indicated as well as maintaining records as an autonomous practitioner. You will be closely supported and mentored by our Clinical Lead, and this combined with our well-developed appraisal system, in-service training, and funding for external clinical courses, you will be provided with an excellent supportive learning environment to continue your professional development. With proven post-registration experience of assessing and treating MSK conditions in an outpatient setting, you must have excellent communication and organisational skills and be willing to learn and develop. As our Physiotherapist working with Practice Plus Group you will: Provide outstanding evidence-based care, listening and acting on patient feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to patients, focusing on both planned and unplanned care. Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries. Playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patients' care following our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding. Inspire excellence in your colleagues by being pro-active in the management of MSK conditions and motivating the wider team to identify patients presenting with red flag symptoms. You will forge strong working relationships with the Practice Plus Group healthcare team and the wider prison service. Promote best practice, evidence-based care and continuous quality improvement embedding a culture of reflection and shared learning. Share knowledge, skills, and expertise to ensure safe care supporting your clinical and non-clinical colleagues to do a great job. Be responsible for your own caseload and waiting list and be able to work as an autonomous practitioner. Person Specification

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. £31,400 to £47,250 a year Up to £47,250 per annum pro rata depending on experience
