What you will do: Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation programmes for patients with various conditions, including pre and post-op ortho (such as total hip replacement, total knee replacement, ACL repairs, and arthroscopic procedures), as well as post-op spinal, abdominal, gynaecological, and breast surgeries. Educate patients and their families on post-surgical exercises and safety protocols to ensure optimal recovery. Assist patients with bed mobility, transfers, gait and stair training, fostering independent living. Utilize and teach the use of gait aids effectively to support patient mobility. Apply splints and boots as required to aid recovery. Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and facilitate patient discharges, promoting seamless transitions from hospital to home. Requirements of the Physiotherapist: Qualified physiotherapist, i.e., Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy Recent UK experience within specialised physiotherapy Registered with the HCPC as a physiotherapist to work in the UK NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential Working with Sanctuary Personnel: Sanctuary Personnel is a trusted and award-winning agency for roles.
