Physiotherapist Inpatients – Bank Parkside Hospital, Wimbledon, London SW19 5NX | Physiotherapy | Bank – Adhoc | Includes Weekends Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. Our Physiotherapy team at Parkside Hospital currently has an opportunity for a Bank Inpatient Physiotherapist to join our team. As part of the team, you will have clinical support available from your Senior Physiotherapists and the on-site Physiotherapy Manager. As a Bank Inpatient Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and rehabilitation for a variety of post-operative elective orthopaedic, women's health, and breast patients, as well as other clinical specialties, in line with our treatment protocols. You will work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses and consultants to optimise the health and recovery of our post-operative patients. As a Bank Inpatient Physiotherapist, you will: Deliver high-quality, effective, and clinically reasoned care to meet our patients’ needs. Adhere to our values and beliefs where we encourage behaviour that is connected, aspirational, responsive, and ethical. Be compliant with all professional, clinical, and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes. Be able to work regular weekend shifts. To succeed as a Bank Inpatient Physiotherapist, you will: Have a BSc (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Evidence of experience in orthopaedic inpatients. Demonstrate evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner. Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals. Be a competent and confident IT user.
