We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist who is looking to step up into a role which allows you to develop your special interest in pain and apply advanced clinical reasoning within a supportive and evolving musculoskeletal service. We are offering the opportunity to develop your special interest in pain to enhance our Angus service.
The post will be based within the Angus Physiotherapy Service. Within the service we have clinicians working within orthopaedics, rheumatology, specialist spinal service and also the First Contact Physiotherapy Service. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop specialist experience and skills in these areas. We are a large and dynamic team structured to deliver quality care to our patients. We also provide clinical supervision and opportunities for leadership development and clinical educator roles.
Angus Physiotherapy Service is part of an award-winning Tayside wide musculoskeletal team leading the way in service development. As a service we fully support staff in their clinical and personal development to deliver quality patient care. Developing a highly skilled workforce with enhanced clinical skills is something we fully support. For example, this may include development of injection therapy, radiographic imaging, and independent prescribing.
An active in-service training programme is in place both locally across the Angus Physiotherapy Service. Personal and Professional Development is structured via the TURAS appraisal system and knowledge and skills framework.
