In this role, you will collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team (MDT) specializing in stroke and neurology, providing a superb environment for both newly qualified physiotherapists and those with experience looking to expand and consolidate their knowledge in stroke rehabilitation.
Our inpatient stroke unit offers comprehensive care, including hyper acute, acute, and rehab/recovery phases, with strong links to the community to ensure outstanding patient outcomes. Main duties of the job
Providing quality patient care and assessments
Assessing patients for equipment needs
Assessing and advising around discharge destinations
Leading your own caseload
Progressing patients towards their rehabilitation goals

Person Specification Knowledge
Skills and knowledge in core specialities and the appropriate physiotherapy application
Good communication, time management and organisational skills
Good clinical reasoning skills
Qualifications
Degree in Physiotherapy, BSc(Hons) or Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy or equivalent (or pending 2017)
HCPC Registration
Further Training
Clinical updates relevant to specialities on rotation programme
Experience
Core clinical placements encountered during the undergraduate training
Experience of working in the health service
Non-core clinical placements encountered during the three-year period of undergraduate training
Contractual
Participation in Physiotherapy On-call service
7 day working
Ability to travel between Trust sites
