An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and diligent Administrative Support Officer who will be based within the MSK Outpatient Physiotherapy Department at Nevill Hall Hospital on a Monday and Tuesday for 6 months on a fixed-term basis. We require someone who has excellent administrative and clerical skills to become a member of this dynamic team. You will work alongside the administration lead and clerical colleagues. You need to demonstrate the ability to prioritise your own workload and show initiative. Main Duties of the Job

You will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills. An excellent telephone manner is vital as the post holder will have direct contact with parents/carers and health professionals. Due to the area you will be working in, the post holder would need to demonstrate compassion and a good understanding around possible complex or safeguarding situations. The post holder must embrace change and be committed to best practice. This post is Fixed Term/Secondment for 6 months due to the needs of the service. The ability to use the internet and design databases and spreadsheets. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good negotiation skills. The ability to speak Welsh. Experience

Essential Criteria

Previous experience of working within an office environment. Desirable Criteria

Previous experience in a health and/or social care environment. Experience of Myrddin and/or WelshPAS (Patient Administration System). Education/Qualifications

Essential Criteria

Good command of English Language and Basic Maths. RSA stage II word processing/typing or equivalent. Desirable Criteria

GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English. ECDL.
