Nuffield Health Hereford Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Physiotherapy Manager to ensure a genuinely exceptional client experience covering inpatient & outpatient MSK physiotherapy services. You will be expected to maintain a clinical caseload, to participate in the CPD and in-service training schedule. You will also be involved in marketing and promotion of the department within the local area. The Physiotherapy Manager is responsible for the operational management of the Wellbeing Services within our Hospital ensuring the delivery of high quality, effective clinical care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment. As the Physio Manager you will; Lead and manage a team of circa 13 Support with clinical work (3 days) alongside the day to day managerial duties (2 days) (60/40 split). There will be some weekend working where necessary so flexibility is key. Have the autonomy to develop and grow the department. Support colleagues and less experienced members of staff including administration staff and physiotherapy assistant colleagues to enhance clinical outcomes and patient experience. Ensure effective diary management and work patterns are utilised to optimise available resources. Manage and review the departmental budget and achievement of commercial targets. The Person You will need to have: Proven post qualification clinical experience. Operational management experience within a healthcare setting is desirable. Financial management experience within a healthcare setting is desirable. Significant experience in physiotherapy delivery. Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team. Evidence of leadership within a team of health care professionals. Candidates must be computer literate as we use an electronic patient record system. Have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent; you’ll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
