We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated Multi Skilled Engineer at our Westerleigh site. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be part of a team working across a designated shift pattern and providing support across the site including our Abattoir, Butchery and Packing Departments. Working Hours:
4 on 4 off shift pattern You will be: an excellent fault finder with strong mechanical skills and a good working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs. expected to accurately record all maintenance work using our computerised maintenance system, so strong computer skills are a must. The Engineering department is crucial to the efficient running of the site and therefore applicants will be required to demonstrate: excellent communication skills when liaising with internal departments and external contractors. a flexible and proactive approach to ensure the overall needs of the business are met. Ideally, applicants will have direct experience of working with food processing and packaging equipment; however, familiarisation training on this specialist equipment can be provided for the right candidate. Qualifications: a recognised qualification in mechanical and electrical engineering.
