We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Food Safety and Quality Manager to join our team in Dungannon. Salary: Competitive My Job: To assist the technical manager in ensuring that site technical requirements are met. To interact with the technical and operations teams to drive standards and customer expectations forward. Key Responsibilities: Designing, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving HACCP based Quality Management System. Due diligence using industry best practice, customer best practice, BRC, Third Party / Legislative requirements / recommendations. Co-ordinate and manage HACCP team and activities. Support the NPD function to aid successful new product/process development through specifications, product information, reference samples, photographs, Use By schedules, proofing specifications, artwork verification, etc. Monitor factory cleaning, housekeeping, and hygiene standards through first-hand auditing on the factory floor and analysis of the audit reports, developing action strategies as a result of repeated/trending non-conformances. Contribute to cleaning specification development. Provide technical guidance, training, and support to other departments, developing awareness and understanding of technical issues. Measurable Outputs: Achieving KPIs and providing clear direction for improvement. Achieving audit grades. Effective and timely responses to customer queries and complaints. Maintenance of HACCP plan under responsibilities. Ensuring team is adequately trained and effective. Clear reporting of factory measurables to site team. Ensuring H&S policy is being followed and correctly implemented. Ensuring audit timetables are adhered to. You will need: Experience as a QA Manager in the food industry. Experience of managing and delivering KPI improvement. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively lead a team and delegate instructions as required. Self-motivated individual who can work well under pressure and achieve consistently high results. Report writing and procedural writing skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft programmes, in particular Excel, Word, and Outlook. Initiative, self-motivated, well-organised, and assertive. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
