Canadian Helicopters Limited (CHL) is Canada's largest helicopter operator, in business for more than 75 years. We have openings for Rotary Wing Academic and Flight Training Device (FTD) Instructors in Southport Manitoba in support of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Contracted Flying Training and Support program. Instructors report to the Chief Rotary Wing Instructor (Southport) and will be assigned duties commensurate with their qualifications and on-site requirements. CHL is anticipating the expansion of responsibilities for our Southport flight instructor cadre as a member of the SkyAlyne team delivering training for the RCAF Future Aircrew Training contract. CHL is in the process of developing internal career paths for newly hired pilots that combine initial work in remote locations to develop the requisite skills and experience followed by potential employment in this state-of-the-art training program. Responsibilities: Deliver ground school lectures, Deliver FTD lessons, and Carry out maintenance test flights as required. Qualifications

Licence:

TC Commercial Pilot’s Licence; Foreign Commercial Pilot’s Licence; current/former RCAF helicopter pilot; or current/former foreign military qualification;

B206 and/or B412 endorsement are an asset; Multi-engine rotary-wing experience an asset; Able to obtain a TC medical for flying positions (non-flying positions do not require a TC medical); TC Instructor Rating;

This requirement is waived for former RCAF pilots and foreign military instructors in certain specific circumstances:

TC Class IV Instrument Rating and Night Vision Goggle experience preferable; Good oral and written communication skills in English, French language skills an asset; Additional Information
