Job description Pinnacle Training Associates Limited are an exciting and expanding training company that has been providing training all over the UK for nearly 40 years. We are now recruiting for a Health and Social Care Trainer to join our established team. This is an opportunity for you to join a dedicated team as a full time or part time trainer on a permanent basis delivering high quality health and social care training across the

Midlands/South/South East/West. Salary will be £30,000 - £35,000 pro rata. Tasks

There are three roles available and both will require delivering on site training to residential care and home care companies/businesses across the

Midlands (East and West), South/South East and South/South West.

Therefore, travel will be an expectation of the position, so a full driving licence and being comfortable with travel and overnight stays is a must. Requirements

The Trainers: Pinnacle provides over 60 different courses; however, you would need to

be competent to deliver a range of Mandatory courses for care homes in particular including: Basic First Aid Emergency First Aid at Work One Day Course Client Moving and Handling Medication Awareness Dementia Awareness Learning Disability Awareness Epilepsy Awareness plus (Epilepsy & Buccal) Infection Control Equality and Diversity Fire Safety, Fire Marshal & Evacuation Health & Safety Food Hygiene Mental Capacity ACT & DoLS Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA) Autism Awareness Challenging Behaviour Mental Health Awareness Dysphagia Awareness Diabetes Awareness General Data Protection Regulations Person Centred Care Unexpected Death and the Legal Aspects End of Life/Palliative Care Experience of training and full knowledge of each course is essential.
