Hampshire CAMHS Intensive Work Team are offering an exciting opportunity for a Band 6, Intensive CAMHS Specialist to be co-located within Hampshire Children's Services Department to provide a specialist multi-disciplinary approach to priority groups including children and young people that may be at risk or becoming a Child in Care, those transitioning to a new setting, and with parents of those where the plan is reunification or those who have had previous children removed. Main duties of the job

The post holder would offer a specialist mental health perspective to the multidisciplinary team/hubs through direct therapeutic work, consultation, joint work, and participation in team meetings. The post holder will work closely with the Children's social care teams to provide the social worker foundation team with additional, co-located services. The post requires the holder as a member of a multi-disciplinary/multi-agency team to maintain a caseload and provide direct clinical work that demonstrates a high level of specialist skill in treating the client system, where children and young people have mental health difficulties. All children and young people are seen in the context of their family. The post holder will provide advice & clinical consultancy to teams in relation to the mental health needs of children and young people aged 0-19 (including care leavers 19-25) residing in a range of domestic settings including living at home, with wider family, a foster carer, or a residential home.
