For the successful Pipefitter, our client is offering: Hourly rate of £20.00 per hour (PAYE) Overtime paid at x1.5 (£30.00) & x2 (£40.00) Core working hours Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a 2:30pm finish on Friday Overtime available after core hours & weekends Long-term temporary position Holiday pay Pension - Auto enrolment after 3 months Opportunities for candidates to become permanent depending on performance The role - Pipefitter: Install, repair and maintain piping systems onboard ships according to engineering specifications Fabricate and assemble pipes using specialized tools and techniques Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure integrity and safety of pipework installations and repairs Prepare work areas, ensuring safety protocols are followed Use hand & power tools Ensure high-quality standards are met Follow health and safety protocols What our client is looking for in a Pipefitter: City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent in Pipefitting
- BENEFICIAL Proven expertise in industrial pipefitting work
- ESSENTIAL Proven experience in the Marine / Nuclear / Steel fabrication / Offshore / Petro-chemical or Construction industries
- ESSENTIAL Significant experience in marine/ship repair
- BENEFICIAL CCNSG Safety passport or equivalent
- BENEFICIAL Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Full BPSS checks or willingness to undergo the clearance process Key skills or similar job titles:
