Contract length: 3-4 years

Position Overview:

As a Pipelayer Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing pipeline installation projects from start to finish. This includes supervising a team of pipelayers, ensuring that all work is completed according to safety regulations, project specifications, and industry standards. You will play a key role in maintaining high-quality work while ensuring the efficient completion of each project.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of pipelayers to ensure the safe and efficient installation of pipelines. Monitor and enforce adherence to safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and toolbox talks. Oversee excavation, trenching, and preparation of pipeline routes, ensuring correct alignment and depth. Ensure proper installation of pipes, following project blueprints and specifications. Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure the timely completion of projects. Troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site to minimize delays and disruptions. Maintain accurate records of daily work, materials used, and workforce hours. Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior pipelayers to enhance their skills and performance. Ensure compliance with all relevant local and national regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience in pipelaying and pipeline installation, with at least [X] years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of pipeline construction processes, materials, and techniques. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide others. In-depth understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. [Relevant Certifications, e.g., CSCS Card, First Aid, etc.] preferred.
