Job Description

Wood UK are hiring for a knowledgeable and experienced Consultant to advise on Pipelines Crossing from both an engineering and construction perspective. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a cutting-edge net zero project on an initial one-year contract. Responsibilities

Be a member of the Client’s project team and provide consulting on project engineering issues. Responsible for providing expertise and ensuring the application of correct standards in all EPC deliverables in the design. Providing expertise on crossing design and construction methodology. Provide progress data and input to progress reports and schedules. Fully understand clients' HSE policy, procedures, regulations, and objectives as they relate to his area of responsibility. Contact and communicate with third parties and authorities as per PM instructions. Undertake site visits as per project requirements. Review EPC contractor pipeline engineering documentation and provide comments. Interface with the department for technical and administrative support. Coordinate pipelines detailed design and mitigate interdisciplinary conflicts. Attend client and EPC contractor meetings as required. Interface with other disciplines and coordinate design review works. Identify potential applications for new technology. Ensure that Wood and Client’s Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management Procedures are complied with. Provide assistance to other disciplines and participate in review meetings (if requested), in accordance with project requirements. Support internal development and continuous improvement activities as required. Qualifications

Significant experience of Pipelines Crossings on complex projects. Strong communication skills, ideally with previous IPMT experience. Reading-based role on an initial one-year engagement. About Us
