Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic Pipeline Team Lead in Histology to join our passionate team. Reporting to our Senior Manager, NGS Pipelines, this person will work closely with scientists to advance multiple aspects of our R&D programs at Quotient Therapeutics. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to thrive in a fast-paced, action-oriented team environment whilst leading a team of research associates to carry out routine analysis of samples. The individual will have demonstrated evidence of agility and nimbleness to progress scientific discoveries, and an overt attitude of positivity when facing challenges. The candidate will be dedicated to develop and grow outside their comfort zone by constantly learning. Key Responsibilities: Drive scientific efforts by processing samples alongside Research Associates and Scientists in the laboratory Perform sample processing including sample fixation, embedding, sectioning, and staining Line manage a small team of Research Associates, ensuring they maintain high-throughput and quality of data Support the implementation of novel target discovery platforms, protocols, and other assays Advise on ways to increase efficiency in lab processing Collaborate and communicate with other team members across various functional areas Key Skills and Experiences: BS or MS degree in biochemistry, molecular or microbiology, or related field Minimum BS and relevant experience Hands-on experience in histology processes, embedding, sectioning, and staining, are required Knowledge and experience of working under HTA regulations Experience troubleshooting histology processes is highly preferred Knowledge of downstream NGS pipeline impacts of histology processes is desirable About Flagship Flagship Pioneering is a biotechnology company that invents and builds platform companies, each with the potential for multiple products that transform human health or sustainability.
