Aberdeen or Glasgow – hybrid working 3 days in the office with flexibility to work from home for 2 days. About You You’ll have experience of: Interfaces with other engineering disciplines. Offshore and onshore Oil and Gas business, but similar transferable industries skills will also be considered in lieu of specific O&G experience. Experience in 3D modelling (AutoCAD plant 3D is preferred but other similar 3D tools are considered acceptable) and study. Knowledge and understanding of CATS & SPEC and Design application of 3D modelling tool is essential for the role. Generating 3D models (AutoCAD plant 3D preferred). Competent in using Navisworks manage. Design checking deliverables that conform to all applicable industry engineering codes and standards as well as the client’s policies and procedures relative to the piping and equipment being specified. Sound knowledge of relevant commonly used codes and Piping standards therefore required. Qualifications HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering preferred. Knowledge, understanding of UK statutory requirements such as pressure equipment regulation (PER), PED regulations would be essential for the role. Knowledge of Microsoft packages, AutoCAD 2D, Navisworks and AutoCAD Plant 3D (or any other 3D piping modelling tools) are essential. Understanding and ability to interpret system Process and Instrument Diagrams. Having offshore BOSIET, MIST and medical are preferred for the role with experience of site surveys.
