ARCUS FM is a facilities management company that operates in England and Wales, currently serving well-known corporations: Sainsbury’s, Co-op and Hermes. As an Energy Analyst, you will be working in a specialist division called SMaRT Hub, which work differs considerably from the typical FM industry. The SMaRT Hub collaborates closely with Arcus’ clients in a status of almost semi-independence and consultancy. From installing, monitoring, and maintaining solar panels, to remotely being able to control complex refrigeration and HVAC systems, the department’s reach goes well beyond the usual. As an Energy Analyst, you will become part of the Energy Team. In summary, our purpose is to reduce our clients’ utility bills, while helping them reach their sustainability goals. Having this in mind, we come up with original initiatives that allow us to manipulate energy consumption, while considering aspects such as weather parameters, energy prices and new state-of-the-art technology. As such, you will be involved in a series of many different projects. Even though part of your role is to monitor already in-place projects and carry out deep data analysis, every day you will have a chance to present your own ideas, implement them, and report your findings/results to key stakeholders across the company and its customers.
