to assist with the appointment of a

Placements & Assessment Officer , on a

3-month contract , likely to be extended at client's discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration. Rate of Pay:

£20.58 - £25.49 per Hour Responsibilities: To ensure QA visits to all residential and semi-independent resources where a looked after child is placed prior to placement or within agreed timescale and critically evaluate the provision against Ofsted evaluation reports. To collate and analyse the assessments information and to produce a report quarterly for the Team Manager, Senior Placements Officer and Head of Commissioning/AD Strategic Commissioning. To ensure that robust management information is available to the Manager, Access to Resources and Head of Commissioning/AD-Strategic Commissioning in terms of quality, quantity and cost. To ensure that placements are matched to children's needs through evidence based practice, relevant guidance, inquiry report conclusions and the principles of the legislatory framework. Carry out all accountabilities in compliance with the Councils Policies and Procedures. Qualifications: Knowledge of the range of complex needs of Looked After Children and an understanding of the most appropriate interventions to meet those needs. Excellent organisational skills including the ability to manage competing demands, respond to emergency situations and manage your workload effectively. Experience in partnership working with statutory sector partners. Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
