SEND Plan Writer 4 months Interim Contract £230 per day (Via Umbrella) Inside IR35, Full Time London – Local Authority (remote) About the Role As a SEND Plan Writer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that children and young people receive the support they need to achieve their potential. You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing high-quality SEND plans, including Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), tailored to the individual needs of each child. Key Responsibilities: Writing clear, detailed, and legally compliant SEND plans in collaboration with families, schools, and professionals. Reviewing and updating existing EHCPs to ensure they remain relevant and effective. Liaising with parents, carers, and stakeholders to gather accurate and meaningful information. Keeping up to date with SEND legislation and best practices to ensure high standards. Providing expert guidance to schools, local authorities, and families throughout the SEND process. About You To succeed in this role, you’ll need: Experience in SEND processes, including EHCP writing and reviews. Excellent communication and writing skills, with a keen eye for detail. A strong understanding of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice. The ability to work empathetically and collaboratively with families and professionals. Good organisational skills to manage deadlines and priorities effectively.
