Description

Marrons’ Birmingham team are looking for a Planner to join us. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, from urban regeneration schemes to strategic planning initiatives, while collaborating with a range of clients and stakeholders.

You will be:

Advising on development potential of land and buildings Assisting with preparing planning applications and appeals Providing policy advice and research Drafting representations to plan consultations and examinations Utilising a range of resources to identify land opportunities Working with clients and other consultants to deliver development

You will have:

Previous experience in a Planning role (ideally from within local government, consultancy or development industry) A relevant Planning qualification (or working towards one) Membership of RTPI or working towards membership An understanding of the planning process and systems Excellent writing skills with a strong eye for detail and high level of accuracy Excellent communication skills and a friendly approachable manner The ability to prioritise workload and manage time efficiently Drive, commitment, enthusiasm and a team player approach
