to join our new Planning Team, with positions based in our main Tonbridge branch and Orbit's area hubs. Planner , your main duties will include calling residents to book appointments and planning operatives’ diaries. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining PDA (personal digital assistant) control allocation and will monitor daily work volumes ensuring efficient use of resources to meet turnaround timescales. You will also provide supporting information on operative performance levels. Role Criteria: Ability to investigate, evaluate and respond to situations quickly Decisive - Make effective decisions based on objective assessment of situations Able to multitask - Control multiple processes simultaneously to share good practice Good IT knowledge, IT Literate Proven ability to prioritise own workload Great Customer Service - Confident on the phone with a good telephone manner Knowledge/experience of Direct Scheduling System (used commonly by councils) General knowledge of the construction industry Great organisational skills All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK; Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
