Purpose
To manage the MPS (Master Production Schedule) i.e. production of FGs (Finished Goods)
Plan to satisfy customer needs
Plan to optimise production efficiency
Balance production capacity with customer and business requirements
Planner - Role and Responsibilities
Implement MPS
Action CTP requests (capable to promise) from Planning Worksheet.
Create and amend FG works orders.
Facilitate full utilisation of raw materials i.e. run out coils and PF rolls.
Action under/over productions accordingly.
Adjust plans according to changes in production capacity.
Adjust plans according to changes in raw material availability.
Liaise with Planning Manager to deliver MPS.
Liaise with Production Manager regarding production schedule.
Liaise with Purchasing Team to deliver raw material requirements.
Create new products with Stock Manager and Production Administrators.
Respond to lead time enquiries and action improvement requests.
Action appropriate changes from Cancelled Order Report.
Reallocate stock reservations based on customers requested receipt date.
Create and amend pallet works orders
Create FG pallet split works orders
Create container packaging works orders
Any other duties as reasonably requested
