Our client is looking for a Planner to join their Northern team in Sheffield, focusing on high-profile projects across multiple sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, and leisure.

My client is a growing business turning over £45m and has a plan in place to hit £80m within the next 5 years. They are a leading provider in Mechanical & Electrical services with an outstanding team, committed to over 100 years of experience and excellence.

As a Planner, you will:

Work with the site team and main contractor to ensure the projects have fully integrated programmes sequenced correctly to allow the successful completion of the project. Thoroughly study specifications, drawings, and relevant contract documents/correspondence in conjunction with engineers and surveyors to ensure adequacy of the planning and programming of projects. Carry out regular reporting on projects to allow the site team to understand the programme position in relation to progress. Liaise with the project team to ensure progress reports, progress percentages, and drop-down programmes are produced and issued in accordance with best practices, company procedures, and project requirements to allow proper management and commercial protection to be achieved.

Desirables:

Asta or P6 qualifications/experience. Familiar with NEC & JCT forms of contracts.
