Facilitating our environmental objectives.
The Planning & Environment Manager is a key role, responsible for:
Providing environmental expertise to inform land management planning and programming of future works on the National Forests and Land;
Engaging in significant project work that requires senior management collaboration and representation;
Providing leadership, direction, and support to teams working within the Planning & Environment function across the Region;
Taking lead on environmental work.
Requirements For this role, it is essential to have:
Strong experience with managing teams and engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders;
Strong experience in Forest Management, Conservation, or Land Management;
Familiarity with the UK Forest Standard or other environmental regulatory frameworks.
