£70,000 + car allowance + package An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Planning Engineer to join a leading main contractor on a major multi-billion-pound framework offering long-term secure work. The Planning Engineer will join an established team that are responsible for delivering a large portfolio of projects nationally for their client Network Rail. The Planning Engineer will be a key member of the framework team. Reporting into the Planning Manager, they will be responsible for providing planning expertise, supporting the Project Managers and Programme Managers. This is a hybrid role split with 3 days on site and the remainder working remotely. Duties

Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules in accordance with contractual requirements. Monitor project progress and performance against the schedule, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables. Identify and mitigate potential delays and risks, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Candidate

Demonstrate planning experience gained within the UK rail industry. Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 planning software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience in resource loading and earned value management. Offer

Starting salary of up to £70,000 per annum. Car allowance of £5,000 per annum or the choice of company cars.
