£48,116 to £52,116 per annum We are seeking a
Planning Lawyer
to join our legal team, providing expert legal advice on
Planning, Regeneration, and Highways
matters. Job Purpose: Support the management of the legal department. Provide high-level, proactive legal advice to the Council, its members, and officers. Serve as a key contact for senior officers and members regarding legal issues in Planning, Regeneration, and Highways. Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or FILEX. Knowledge & Experience: Significant Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in planning law. Strong understanding of risk management in corporate governance. Well-developed expertise in planning law and local government law. Experience advising councils or boards in public meetings and reports. Knowledge of UK and EU legal trends affecting local government. Experience contributing to corporate policy and strategy development.
