Planning Manager

to join our team, bringing expertise in food manufacturing and materials management to ensure the smooth running of our supply chain across multiple sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact by leading a high-performing team and driving operational success. What You’ll Be Doing: Team Leadership:

Lead and motivate a team of 6 to ensure materials availability across 2 sites and 28 production lines, keeping operations running smoothly and meeting service levels. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project updates, cost implications, and any potential risks. Materials Management:

Oversee the supply of over 280 inbound materials, collaborating with suppliers to resolve challenges and maintain continuity. S&OP Coordination:

Play an integral role in weekly and monthly S&OP processes, identifying risks and delivering proactive solutions to support business performance. Change Management:

Own change initiatives at site level, staying ahead of challenges and ensuring seamless implementation of new processes. Supplier Relationships:

Lead regular supply reviews, collaborating with procurement and technical teams to manage supplier KPIs and maintain strong partnerships. Waste Reduction:

Drive waste reduction initiatives through analysis, root cause identification, and corrective actions to meet site sustainability targets. Process Optimisation:

Champion process improvements, including piloting group-wide initiatives and presenting innovations to drive best practice. What We’re Looking For: Strong experience in

food manufacturing

and

materials management , with a track record of managing complex planning operations. Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and engagement. Expertise in S&OP, supplier management, and waste reduction strategies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and implement effective solutions. Excellent communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers. A proactive mindset, always looking to anticipate and mitigate challenges. Why Join Us?
