About the Company

A leading and expanding civil engineering contractor with a strong presence in the industry, our client owns multiple plant yards and operates a large, modern fleet. They are actively growing and seeking a motivated Plant Coordinator to support their operations and join their dedicated team.


The Role

As a Plant Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management, allocation, and maintenance of the company’s plant and equipment. Working closely with the plant team, you’ll coordinate resources across various projects, helping to maintain the high standards of productivity and quality the company is known for.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule plant and equipment for projects across the region
  • Ensure regular maintenance and inspections are carried out on all plant items
  • Manage plant records, tracking availability, utilisation, and compliance
  • Liaise with site teams to identify plant requirements and provide timely solutions
  • Support the Plant Manager in overseeing plant yard operations and fleet logistics
  • Work with suppliers and contractors for equipment rental and maintenance as needed


Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in plant coordination or a similar role within the civil engineering or construction industry
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of plant and machinery, including compliance and maintenance standards
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in relevant software for tracking and scheduling equipment is desirable
