Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key leadership role within a 60+ member engineering team, driving high performance, safety, team development, and continuous improvement. Alongside your technical expertise, your ability to develop collaborative and time-sensitive solutions will be required in supporting the operational functions on-site. Responsibilities:
Manage engineering and maintenance operations Develop and implement maintenance systems and strategies Monitor daily maintenance activities Provide guidance to maintenance and production staff Ensure maintenance staffing meets plant needs Efficiently use contractors and suppliers Support sustainability goals Analyze production and maintenance data for improvements Represent maintenance in project teams Communicate effectively with management and staff Requirements:
Engineering degree Excellent leadership and team management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Experience in food manufacturing Problem-solving skills (PDCA, ‘5 Whys’, KPIs) Experience with refrigeration and boilers is a plus Knowledge of WH&S and environmental regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety If you are interested in this role, please apply directly or email me at andrew.clifford@acrworld.com.
