It is one of our client's biggest sites in Europe and is of key strategic importance to the EMEA region. This will be a site-based role 5 days per week, with three direct reports. Responsibilities Monitor the financial key performance indicators, ensuring compliance with accounting rules and regulations Manage the finance department team and ensure strong internal controls and policies are in place Prepare and analyse budgets and forecasts, monitoring manufacturing costs and variances Support other plant departments in analysing cost performance Implement corrective actions as needed and participate in continuous improvement programmes Take responsibility for accurate financial statements and ensure SOX compliance Essential Skills Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accreditation Bachelor's degree Previous experience in Accounting/Finance within a manufacturing environment Previous experience in team management Knowledge of continuous improvement tools Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and preferably SAP Finance ERP systems experience (preferably Onestream)
