Plant Fitter
to join our client's team in Aberdeen. This dynamic role requires travel to various sites, so a
full, clean driver's license is
essential. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the maintenance and efficiency of heavy plant equipment. This position demands independence, expertise in fault diagnosis, and the ability to carry out repairs effectively. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on heavy plant machinery. Conduct regular maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety (H&S) standards at all times. Collaborate with the plant maintenance team to meet operational demands. Maintain accurate service records and complete necessary documentation. Minimum Requirements: Mechanical Engineering Background:
Proven experience as a mechanical engineer or fitter, preferably in the heavy plant or quarrying industry. Technical Expertise:
Strong skills in fault diagnosis and machinery repair. Adaptability:
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team. Attention to Detail:
Focus on safety and high standards of artistry. Flexibility:
Willingness to travel to various sites as required. Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems is advantageous.
