Plant Fitter / Senior Mechanic

Senior Mechanic / Plant Fitter Ashford £30k - £40K DOE My client, a market-leading organisation, is looking for a Senior Mechanic / Plant Fitter to join their team! They are open to considering candidates with different levels of experience, from general mechanics with an understanding of agricultural vehicles, to plant fitters who have worked on agricultural vehicles and are looking for a step up in their career. As a Senior Mechanic / Plant Fitter, you will be: Working on company fleet and agricultural equipment. Carrying out services and general repairs on vehicles and equipment. Managing a workshop plant fitter to ensure duties are being carried out correctly. Keep a record maintenance schedule on all equipment. Arranging vehicle MOTs. Travelling to various sites to carry out repairs and maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Performing office/computer-based duties as well as manual handling tasks. Any other duties required. To be successful in the application for this Senior Mechanic / Plant Fitter role,you will have/be: Experience working as a mechanic with an understanding of agricultural vehicles and equipment. Alternatively, you will have experience working as a mechanic / plant fitter working on vehicles and plant in the agricultural sector. Able to interpret task/data sheets. Computer literate and competent using Microsoft Office. Strong organisational skills to manage bookings.
