Our client is a national business that supplies plant and vehicles nationally within their other business functions. They now need a plant fitter to join their team to support their plant site. Ideally, you will have a recognised apprenticeship or relevant qualifications in engineering working with Plant equipment, which could be a variety of sorts. This role is site-based only and duties include: Fault diagnosis and rectifying all types of mechanical and electrical faults Completing work and ensuring daily electronic work records are up to date Undertaking minor and major repair works Communicating/liaising with the workshop team Ensuring that Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) policies and procedures are adhered to Ideally, we are looking for people who are self-motivated, flexible, and effective communicators who pride themselves on working to high standards to provide high levels of customer service. You should be a fully qualified plant technician to a minimum of NVQ2 or equivalent through a recognised training scheme. This role receives 25 days' annual leave plus statutory holidays and has a discretionary annual bonus and excellent pension contributions.
