Job Description

Your role as Plant Logistic Lead is to coordinate and monitor the two major functions executed by the provider: warehouse management and distribution management. Act as a contract manager and make the interface between O-I and the providers. Receiving, documenting and temporary warehousing of packaging components for manufacturing operations at the site, storage of finished goods and collection of empty returnable packaging from customers. Monitor the provider according to the contract KPI Follow the action plan agreed with the provider Ensure that the operation is working in line with business needs Challenge all aspects of Plant logistics cost You may be required to travel to customer sites to undertake stock counts. Salary range: £37,000 - £40,000 plus 6% bonus dependent on individual and plant performance 33 days holiday including 8 bank holidays Employee Assistance Programme and Private Health Cover Life Assurance (4 times salary) and highly competitive pension with minimum company contribution of 8% / employee minimum contribution 3% Qualifications

Qualifications Logistics studies or comparable professional qualification Strong IT knowledge for effective stock control and distribution Experience 3-plus years of operational experience or provider coordinator in a comparable position in logistics / Purchasing at plant level Additional Information

Additionally the following would be beneficial: Operational Excellence Leadership of an operational team (third party) Excellent writing ability to precisely describe processes
