Up to £50,000pa Found Recruitment are working with an outstanding operation based in West Sussex and are currently on the lookout for experienced Engineers, Mechanics, Plant Fitters and Technicians to take on two key roles of Plant Machinery Maintenance Engineer. Work life balance is extremely important to this company. While the business operates 24/7, the core hours for this role are based during the day on a Monday to Friday basis. Any time worked outside these hours is paid in the form of overtime, with rates going to time and a half on weekends. You’ll be joining an outstanding team, working with other engineers in the onsite workshop with all your tools and equipment provided. Key Responsibilities

Maintain and service all mobile plant and associated equipment, including forklift (reach trucks), loading shovels and large 360 excavator/material handling cranes. Enable the smooth running of our Operations Team through timely and professional planned maintenance. Maintain the highest safety standards in a fast-moving environment with exposure to mobile plant and all-weather conditions. Showcase a passion for excellence in the servicing and repair of all machinery, from light vans and forklifts to loading shovels and large 360 excavator/material handling cranes. Show diligence in routine inspections of all types of plant/machinery. Use your experience and judgement to diagnose and fault find from operator reports. Demonstrate excellent communication by clearly liaising with the Engineering Managers to update on job progress and completion times. Ensure accurate records are kept. Safely carry out all tasks in accordance with all equipment and hire policies and procedures. Consistently use and maintain workshop tooling in accordance with specifications and conditions. Qualifications

To apply for the role of Plant Machinery Maintenance Engineer, you will have a positive and professional outlook and preferably (but not essentially) be qualified as a plant fitter/mechanic via: C&G Light or Heavy Motor Vehicle Repair NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Motor Vehicle Repair You should have a passion for the trade, alongside knowledge of mobile plant and the ability to understand electrical and hydraulic schematics. Previous work with hydraulics and electrical systems would be a real benefit, as working with equipment such as excavators, loading shovels, forklifts and telehandlers will require an in-depth understanding of this area.
