We are excited to open applications for our Static Plant Operator Apprenticeship program, designed to nurture the next generation talent. Based in our state-of-the-art facilities, this is a golden opportunity for individuals passionate about engineering, innovation, and sustainability. Your key responsibility will be to ensure the Asphalt plants at Bardon Hill are operated in a safe manner, producing a quality and in-specification product supplied to the customer. Apprenticeship Overview:

Engage in comprehensive training programs combining hands-on experience with academic learning. Work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical skills. Participate in projects focusing on innovation and sustainability in construction materials and practices. Support the wider team in the smooth operation of the site. Learn about and contribute to our sustainability initiatives, focusing on reducing carbon emissions and enhancing efficiency. Typical Placement Responsibilities:

Ensure the plant is health and safety compliant at all times. Operate both Standard Haven and Benninghoven asphalt plants. Conduct pre-start and routine safety checks on the equipment and the working area in line with regulations, company policies, and procedures. Carry out static plant operations sustainably and minimize waste. Conduct planned and preventative maintenance in line with regulations, manufacturers guidance, company policies, and procedures. Plan and prepare for the task ensuring availability of equipment and resources. Ensure all customer orders are manufactured and dispatched to our customers. Complete handover requirements. Contribute to continuous improvement activities. Keep stakeholders such as colleagues and line managers informed about materials processing work. Process materials to meet specifications. Check and maintain stocks of materials for processing. Monitor quality of raw materials and products during operation. Adjust the plant equipment to maintain quality and specification of the product. Our minimum entry requirements are: Maths and English at grade 2 or above (or equivalent). Who do we seek:
