A great opportunity has become available, for an experienced Chemical Plant Operator! This would mean joining one of the world’s leading chemical manufacturers, who is the largest global producer of the specialist product manufactured across their sites.


Working for a company that employs leading professionals within the sector, this permanent position as Plant Operator offers an attractive salary of up to £44,000, training & development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package alongside. Responsibilities of the Plant Operator:


• Responsible for the day-to-day safety, operation, and environmental performance of the plant.

• Comply with process safety standards and procedures, ensuring all activities meet exacting and ever-improving cGMP standards.

• Oversee the control of key raw materials, product packages, and product packing.

• Continuously improve asset performance, ensuring the site operates and is maintained optimally, providing reliable and cost-effective manufacturing.

• Ensure adherence to Permits to Work, Work Control sheets, Risk Assessments, and Safe Systems of Work.

• Possess experience and operational knowledge of chemical processes, sampling, and troubleshooting.

• Prepare for maintenance activities, including site isolation and decontamination.


Experience Required:


To be successful in this position as Plant Operator, you will need a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within the Chemical or Process Industry, specifically on a high hazard / Upper Tier COMAH site. You will possess knowledge of preparing for maintenance and the implementation of Safe Systems of Work. You will need to be able to work flexibly, as working patterns may very in the initial stages.
