Plant Supervisor

to join our team at our Barrow readymix concrete plant. This role is fast-paced, dynamic and extremely varied role. As the Plant Supervisor you will supervise and operate a busy ready-mix concrete batch plant in Barrow ensuring both the fixed and mobile plant is operated safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities To comply with all company Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and standards. Production of RMX concrete as per QSRMC requirements and internal Quality Procedures. Carry out pre start checks to both fixed and mobile plant and report defects accordingly using internal systems. Ensuring the timely delivery of incoming raw materials. (Aggregates, admixtures, cements) Completing weekly and monthly stock checks. Induct all haulier drivers, visitors & customers coming onto site, projecting a professional image and ensuring that site rules are complied with at all times. A hands on approach working with contractors to control and organise plant maintenance as required. Carry out general housekeeping duties and site improvements. A flexible and positive attitude to working times in line with business requirements is essential. Ensure completion of all KPI's and update as an when required Must be computer literate in the use of Google Drive, G Mail, JD Edwards, Powerpoint, Google Excel and Word. Supervisor experience is a must.
